Personal HR/Payroll system (AFAS) At University of Twente we use the HR and payroll system MyHR (AFAS) This is a platform where you can manage your personal details regarding your job, such as submitting a leave request or report sick leave. These often lack the right SSL certificate, are not optimized for mobile devices and also do not meet the legal requirements of accessibility, which apply to (semi-) government websites. We therefore strongly recommend using instead of a self-built page. Anyone can build websites, but getting high ranked in Google according to the guidelines that apply to all the different browsers and search engines is a profession in its own right and a daily task of the online experts of Marketing & Communication. Why you should use The UT considers it important that its employees are easily findable online, for fellow researchers, for the press, but also for a general public. Some information is displayed automatically (contact information, publications, Osiris-courses, expertises, etc.) Other information like projects, biography, social media and more can be added by the user.

Don’t have a meeting on the campus yet? Don’t worry, the Campus app allows you to explore the campus, see and join upcoming events or post on the message board. As a student of the University of Twente, the app also shows you your timetable information. The Campus app guides you to your meeting, the parking spot closest to your appointment or any other outdoors point of interest.
